HOME & INTERIORS: MY CONSERVATORY MAKEOVER (PART 1)

Hello everyone! Today, I’m excited to share with you the first part of my conservatory makeover journey. This project has been a labor of love, and I can’t wait to show you the progress I’ve made so far.

Let’s start with the inspiration behind this makeover. I wanted to create a space that was not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing, a place where I could relax and enjoy the outdoors while still being indoors. I envision it as a cozy retreat, filled with natural light and greenery.

The first step was to address the flooring. I decided to go for a durable and easy-to-maintain option, and I chose a wood-like vinyl flooring that adds warmth and a touch of nature to the conservatory. It’s easy to clean and provides a nice contrast to the plants and furniture.

Next up, I focused on the furniture. I wanted to create a seating area that was comfortable and inviting, so I opted for a couple of soft sofas and accent chairs. I added some throw pillows in coordinating colors to add a pop of personality and comfort. I also included a coffee table and side tables to provide surfaces for my drinks and books.

To bring in more nature, I added a variety of plants. I chose some large potted plants to add height and drama, as well as smaller succulents and hanging plants to add texture and visual interest. The greenery not only looks beautiful but also helps to purify the air and create a more relaxing atmosphere.

Lighting also played a crucial role in the makeover. I installed some pendant lights and wall sconces to provide adequate illumination during the day and create a cozy ambiance in the evenings. I also added some sheer curtains to control the amount of light and privacy.

So far, I’m really happy with the progress I’ve made in my conservatory makeover. It’s starting to feel like a true oasis in my home. In the next part, I’ll share more details about the finishing touches and the final reveal. Stay tuned!

I hope this blog post has inspired you to consider a makeover of your own. Let me know in the comments if you have any questions or suggestions. Thanks for reading!
